Educational School Field Trips
Learning is fun on a farm!
Cottle Strawberry Farm offers Spring and Fall school field trips by reservation only. A trip to the farm is a unique, fun and educational activity that allows students to discover the world of agriculture in an enjoyable hands-on learning experience. Activities include hayrides, visiting the pumpkin or strawberry patch (depending on the season), and exploring the farm. There are 30+ attractions, too — a giant 90×40-foot in-ground jumping pillow (largest in the midlands), mini-golf putting area, barrel train ride, trike racing, the largest corn pit around … and much more.
Fall Field Trips
Special perk: Students will have the opportunity to plant a pumpkin seed at the beginning of the tour. When it’s time to leave, they will stop by to see that their seed has grown into a small pumpkin to take home!

Fall: Classroom in the Corn
Hands-on learning experiences are always best when 1) students have been prepared for what they will encounter, and 2) have the opportunity to discuss what they learned after their visit to the farm. As part of our Fall school field trips, we are pleased to offer the ‘Classroom in the Corn‘ learning series to make your field trip more exciting, memorable and the best experience possible.
Teachers will receive a Teacher Resource Guide broken into separate grade ranges. Each group includes activity goals, National Curriculum Standards, preparation required, materials needed, worksheets, and step-by-step instructions.
